When they purchased their dream home - a charming villa in the south of France, the owners wanted to create a web site to showcase the villa for prospective renters for the late-spring through early-fall months.
The functional goals for this site were to showcase the Villa and Town, display available dates, and provide contact information for those interested in renting. The site needed to reflect the warm tones and hues of the villa’s provincial French-countryside setting.
The photos have a painted feel with rippled borders. The calendar is easy to follow, easy to update, and blends in beautifully with the color scheme of the site. My favorite aspect of this site is how beautiful it is in its simplicity, much like what the villa itself offers.
